We are 2nd day in the hotel. 1st day we spent for managing any normal room as we have a small kid. Bungalow rooms have ants and other flying creatures coming from the garden. Furniture is old and crying for renovation.
Reception offered us a "deluxe" room with extra charge. But when we come in, we didn't feel any difference with standard room. Same old furniture and even no double beds. We refused to pay money for nothing.
Food in the hotel is very poor. And nothing good for small kids. Most of the dishes are same from lunch to dinner, from dinner to lunch. Hope that it's fresh at least.
What is giving a disgusting feeling is dirty and broken glasses and plates. Guests have to be careful choosing a plate to eat.
The only thing we liked is the beach. It is long and uncrowded.
But there are some problems also. Much garbage swimming in the sea especially in the evening. But stuff is trying to clean.
Other problem is wind protectors. We moved one of them to hide ourself from strong wind and left for 10 mins. After coming we found that staff just took it back without any word and our things were near to fly away. Thank you very much. They said sorry it's our system and wind protectors can't be moved. Okay. As we understood they are just decoration because they can't be used to protect from the wind.
Same evening we ordered taxi to go city centre. But driver couldn't reach us for more than 15 mins. Because one boy his name is Osama on the entrance didn't want to let him come in. First they asked to inform reception by ourself. Ok, we did that. Next they asked details of the car and driver. Oh my god, sabah el khier, you see the car front of you and holding driver's ID in you hand, open your eyes!
Front office manager came and we were solving the problem through him. And when I told that everything is hard in this hotel, he answered that we make everything hard for ourself. REALLY?? ARE YOU SERIOUS MAN???
What we did wrong? Wanted clean room without ants? Wanted to protect 2 years old kid from the wind? Or we are guilty to order taxi?
Hope that stuff of the hotel will see my comment. And this is the message for you. If you have such bad system which making the life of the guests harder so CHANGE YOUR SYSTEM. It seems like little kitten wants to seem lion and making many stupid rules for nothing. We stayed in more than 10 hotels in Hurghada and never met so many problems like this before in 2 days. And we are not a trouble makers. But we are really disappointed about all that. Big dislike for you, Long Beach Resort.
