Dear Mrs. Ekaterina, We would like to respond to your comments about our hotel. First of all, Alykes is a place which is called like that because of it’s salt flats. There used to be a factory here where they produced salt. The “foam” you mention is the salt and NOT dirt. The place where the chicken and the geese are is been cleaned twice a day as Mr Dennis spent a lot of time feeding them and cleaning the area. Our guests and children many times join him because they really enjoy this place. We assure you the area is very clean and never smells bad. Although we don’t have to explain you about the construction of the hotel,our cesspits operate perfectly and we NEVER had a problem. But it would be very helpful if you could name us the person that told you that all the hotels have issues with their cesspits. You booked through Mouzenidis travel, a classic bungalow, which is the most economic but great value for money!!!! Everybody says that. By the way we have guests coming for 25 years in these bungalows and they are happier every year Alykes Park is a family hotel so we have many many children. We really don’t understand your demand other children to be quiet when your children are sleeping. The cleaning lady cleans the rooms every day. I personally was checking your bungalow every day because I didn’t want you to have any issue since you had requested a specific time for your room to be cleaned. As you realize it wasn’t easy since we had many departures and arrivals. However we managed it. It is a pity to say that the room wasn’t clean since you left a completely mess in the room! We had to clean all the walls because they were full of shoe prints! The plumbing was full of leafs and toilet paper on purpose by you. It was a very nice and quiet bungalow far from the road! The air condition is almost everywhere extra charged and you already knew it. In the superior bungalows is included in the price. Last year at the classic bungalow the WiFi was only available at the reception. This year we have free WiFi in every accommodation. The hotel is not obliged to have laundry service as you requested. You knew about that as well. BUT THE REAL AND THE ONLY PROBLEM YOU HAD WAS THE EXTRA GOVERNMENT TAX! Obviously it was the first time you were traveling abroad. Otherwise you would have known that this tax is applied all over the world. You knew the total amount of this tax before you make the reservation. The people at the airport also mentioned you about that and the third time was when you’ve been informed at the reception when you arrived. The last night before you leave you came at the reception and you told us that you have spent all your money and that you had no money at all, not even in your card, so you couldn’t afford to pay the amount of the tax. I was really shocked at first. Then you started getting angry because I told you that you had to pay this tax. You finally answered me, you would make the payment when you arrive back home in Russia. I thank God I didn’t let you do that because as far as I can see you would never have done something like that. All the hotels do not include this tax in the price of the reservation. Finally, I personally showed you our operation signal which is the official document of the ministry of tourism. We hope you understand that we had to answer to your unfair comment.
