    Исторический отель D'Inghilterra размещается в здании XVI века – дворце, предназначавшемся для гостей княжеского семейства Торлониа, резиденция которого находилась на противоположной стороне улицы. В XIX веке старинное палаццо было превращено в гостиницу. Свое название (в переводе с итальянского – отель "Англия") она получила из-за того, что в этом районе Рима традиционно селились англичане. Самым знаменитым из них был поэт Джон Китс, живший неподалеку – на площади Испании.
