My family and I chose to end our eight day tour of Egypt along the coast and chose the above resort with an all inclusive package for three nights as we felt a seaside leg of the trip would be a good ending after days in the dry Cairo, Giza and Luxor cities visiting pyramids, tombs, temples and museums would be a nice change of scenery. What a good choice it was indeed!

From the moment we arrived at the resort we felt a complete wave of calm and relaxation wash over us. From the immaculately clean and modern facilities, restaurants, pools, beaches, rooms and common areas to the extremely friendly, efficient and helpful staff at the resort - a complete change in the rest of the crazy busy and constant rushing around we experienced the first part of our trip.

On our arrival at reception we were greeted by our managers Mohamed Kamel. He kindly and comprehensively explained all the hotel facilities, activities and different (as well as numerous) dining options available to us. He gave us his personal number and made himself available to us around the clock.

Our room was amazing - spacious, clean and comfortable with a seafront view and with all the amenities and features a modern 5 star hotel could offer - including beautiful bathroom, a bar fridge, daily fresh fruit bowls and water provided as well as golf cart transport to anywhere on the massive resort grounds. The resort grounds and beaches are beautiful, extremely clean and well maintained. There are ample restaurants on the resort property with one not very far from your room no matter where in the resort you are. The same can be said with the many swimming pools some heated and some not - all are manned by vigilant lifeguards. The hotel staff are everywhere and all are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. We did not pass a single staff member who did not greet us with a friendly smile wherever we roamed. There are water parks that are super fun surrounded by plenty of sun loungers and buffets and bars. Each day the staff arrange poolside entertainment for the kids as well as in the evenings - they make an amazing effort to look for the children and invite and encourage the to join in. If you so wish your children will be entertaining for the greater part of the day and you will not have any concern for their safety. There are also shows put on for the entertainment of the adults each day. The numerous restaurants each alternate their menus and theme nights so you are never bored of the menu as well as spoiled for choice. The entire time we were there we only ate delicious, beautifully prepared food in abundance.

Should you wish to venture outside the resort, our manager Mohamed Kamel was happy to oblige and effortlessly arranged snorkelling outings as well as a boat dive trip to explore the natural wonders of the Red Sea including breathtaking coral reefs and fish as well as turtles, dugongs and dolphins. Some of our excursions were offered as a complimentary gift.

I cannot emphasise enough how amazing Mohamed was throughout our stay. He constantly was contacting us and checking up on us, even way after we had checked out and caught our flight - ensuring we had reached home safely. His service was truly impeccable and second to none that myself and my well travelled family have experienced anywhere in the world. I say all this keeping in mind that we are not easy guests and often called on Mohamed to assist us with our petty requests including arranging equipment from their in-house dive shop, daily snack packs for our outings away from the resort, and even arranging transport outside of the arranged hotel pick up and drop off’s when we decided to cut our excursion short ahead of the other guests due to unfavourable weather (completely out of his control). He was absolutely amazing - even refusing our tip at the end of our stay stating that our happiness and satisfaction with his service was enough compensation (truly a rarity if you have ever toured Egypt).

Do yourself a favour and spend some time in this resort, I assure you it will be a worthwhile part of your trip - especially if you are lucky enough to get Mohamed, but also sure all their staff will go out of their way to ensure a great stay just as he did. Three thumbs up
