Tremendous Greek vacation
Anissaras is a very nice place, as is always in Crete. The hotel is far from the beach, though the local municipal beaches are rocky. If you rent a car, it`s no problem. Hersonissos with its shops, clubs & taverns is near. The reception, room service, pools, beach, staff, restaurant, cleaning are ok. Thanks to the chef the food is great: fish, beef & lamb. Seafood is offered rarely, which isn`t typical for Greece. A good place to travel around the island. The nearest are Heraklion, Knossos, Malia, Ag.Nikolaos, Ierapetra. Greek dance & music evenings were terrific.
