Our stay in the hotel was great. Our room was on the first floor with the entrance from the garden. It was extremely convenient. The food was amazing, though, you have to be careful with what you take, as it may be too spicy for the Europeans. The only thing that we wished to be better was the ocean - sometimes the current brought the river and the water was brown. It was our first holiday where we swam a lot in the pool, as it is clean and enormous. The staff is smiling and friendly.

We found a local guide Chanaka who took us on an excursion to the Turtle Farm, the Jungle River, Galle, and the Temple. He recommended going on the day of their religious holiday, so the Temple experience was unforgetting. He also helped us organise a mini-trip to ride an elephant and to the wild beach with white sand.
