Excellent food, nice and clean hotel. Various seafood, lamb served. The hotel is situated several km from Fortezza - historical center of Rethymno - a nice town with medieval narrow streets, full of shops and cafes. 300 m from Lidl hypermarket. Beach is quite comfortable, 5 min walking from the hotel. Pity, no changing rooms and shower in the beach. Staff friendly. Free WiFi in the rooms. A good start for travelling - Melidoni Cave, Bali beach, Preveli monastery, village of Spili, Plakias, Argiroupoli, Georgioupoli, Lake Kournas, Arcadi monastery - all of them are in the range of 20-30 km from hotel. Opposite the entrance - a Car-rental - Yana cars. It was the end of the season, but Heraklion airport was overcrowded, though. Summarising, I`d recommend the hotel.
