Siva Sharm Resort & Spa 4*

My name is Aleksandr (Kiev, Ukraine), yesterday night I arrived from Siva Sharm where spent vacation with my girlfriend from 31/05/2014 till 08/06/2014, room 6167, and now gonna try to write a full picture feedback about the place.

Location: not distant from the airport, when you go by bus with your travel operator – you will be the first to get off just in 10 minutes from the airport

Beach: Nice beach with beautiful fish, pretty small pontoon, so that there is a line from early morning to jump off or clime down. But in general it’s ok. Of course it would be much more attractive if management put 1 more pontoon and change old wooden beach beds to plastic (all of them are in bad condition)))

Hotel service: Some people at reception are not pleasant to communicate with…it’s a pity…some take money when checking in but as a result give disgusting rooms. I guess the guy at reception Mohammed thought I gave money to him for his beautiful eyes; he took the money and decided that I would accept the shit he proposed to me (i.e. the room he gave to us for money was with bad smell, dirty curtains, broken fridge, weak condition, common balcony with 3 neighboring rooms). I changed the room with the help of one of the hotel managers (Mohsen) and on principle took my money back from Mohammed later on. My big THANKS to Mr. Mohsen who is always open to help. He helped us with the room, fridge, sea view and continued to help with other tiny issues during our vacation. Very kind and nice person, who value’s his job and cares about others (he even did not take money for all the things he did for us). I should also mark out service of one of the restaurant waiters. His name is Ahmed; it’s a very kind person who is ready to help anytime anyone with any restaurant issue (i.e. we left 2 towels at the restaurant, hotel reception wanted to put 30$ penalty on us for that. They even did not try to help, just answered that nobody saw the towels. Along with reception I tried to find the towels with the help of restaurant personnel – as a result nobody helped and it’s a pity even did not try (neither waiters nor restaurant administrator). Then Ahmed came up to us and sincerely proposed his help, listened to us with attention and asked details. He helped us as promised; he found out who cleaned the table where we left towels on the night before. I am confident that in the nearest future he will make career in the restaurant at Siva or any other hotel as he is MUCH better than most in Siva who hold administrator position. My advice to hotel management to pay attention to this guy, his performance is brilliant, his manners are of well-bred person + his does his work duly.

Food: Food is good (like in most 5 star hotels in Egypt or even better). Moreover, they are doing their best to improve kitchen quality, chefs and restaurant administrators are permanently controlling kitchen and restaurant staff.

Rooms’ condition: Some are of good; some are of bad condition (hotel needs money investments to renew it a bit)

Territory: Big, green and clean

Wi-Fi in the Lobby: Terrible

Travel operator News Travel: No claims but still unknown operator, nobody in the hotel (including reception) knows such operator. I needed to find our guide from News Travel but knowbody at reception knew what is News Travel Operator)))

Bottom line: In general hotel is good, I put 4 out of 5. I would come back.
