We have been to Egypt about 10 times. The Red Sea is the best. This time we stayed at the Stella Makady Beach Resort in late March. It`s a lovely season: not cold, not hot, the sea is warm.

The hotel is not pretentious, but very nice: groomed area, many pools and green "side-streets" (each one is unique). The rooms are large, though not new. Daily housekeeping with pretty surprises was done very carefully. The “all inclusive food and drink” is well organized. All of the staff is friendly and helpful.

Our special thanks go to the Animation Team under the leadership of Islam! A very rich program of entertainment is provided. The guys are working with complete devotion while doing it with love and good humor, but not intrusively. MOKO, MASSIMO, JULIA and LENA, thanks a lot to all of you!

Swimming in the sea is possible only from the pier (shallow bay). This pier is a special attraction of the hotel, to my mind. It goes a mile into the sea. There are several outputs from the pier at different depths. You can swim with children where the sandy bottom is available as well as you can snorkel and dive. You will appreciate the beauty of the Red Sea and its inhabitants in the day time. And if you walk along the pier in the evening or at night you will see all the stars in the sky. That is fantastic!
