Gloria Serenity Resort 5*

This is a luxury hotel that gives a luxury time, but you must make them work before you get it.

We where two girls looking to relax and not to be disturbed. Young party people this is a place good for families, romantics and the elderly, not you. Upon arriving, I went straight to the Hammam, a must before starting serious tanning. The procedure was weakly done to start, but when I insisted on working harder then she did a good job.

They did manage to check us in quite early (around 10am). Unfortunately, we did not get the room we booked to start with. They promised to move us after two days which they did and then I got the fantastic Laguna room 1010, block A (more quiet than other block B). Just know that the hotel does not provide irons in the rooms and the laundry is only possible one day in advance.

About food and the A-La-Carte Restaurants. All food is fresh and good. You are supposed to book the restaurant one day before, but then they always say that it is full. We made a bit of a Stir that allowed us to speak directly to the Front Office Manager that seemed able to solve this for us. We tried all the restaurants, the best were French and Asian. French was really number 1, good service and excellent food. For Lunch the best is the outside Italian restaurant.

Good advice is to get up early and secure the best places at the Pier. I had no problems at 8 am, I'm an early bird, what can I say. Their pool is amazing and filled with clear sea water. Read the trip advisor comments and you'll see.

Before, I stayed here in September and this time in July. July is toooo HOT. You cannot be outside from 12 to 16:00. The humidity is very high at this time, so all clothes are permanently wet. The sun factor must be minimum 30+.

A big thanks to Mustafa (Food & Beverage Service Manager), he treated us like royalty and constantly looked if we where fine.

It is worth taking some professional pictures, even if they are expensive. We used Omi, the charismatic and bold one. :))

The hotel WiFi is no good and slow to the point of full stop, so ask for the cable version in the room.

Security is not the best, somebody from the reception gave our room number over the phone and without asking us first.

Would I go back to this hotel again? Yes, it is not far from home and the property/territory is Wonderful!!! If you want a no-thinking, sunny hotel then this is the best place.
