The first surprise had place during check-in. The receptionist blocked 1 000 CZK for mini-bar in advance in case I’ll not pay the drinks. It’s first time with booking in Europe.

Air conditioning system does not work well as you can feel cigarette smoke and another smells from other rooms.

I asked for a non-smoking room and was allocated to the room whose previous occupant obviously was a smoker. It really smelt horrible of cigarettes.

The mirror’s frame, the back of a bed and windowsills at the room were covered with dust thoroughly.

The room was cleaned just twice for the whole period of 6 nights. Towels were not changed at all.

Having returned to the hotel after 0:00 I was very surprised as the entrance door was closed. I had to knock the door and wait outside for about 2 minutes. When receptionist came to the door she made a sign by her hand which means «Go away!» She opened the door just after I showed my key card. As she later explained it was made for security reasons. I was really shocked!

A breakfast was very same every day. Juices were really diluted with water. On the third day of my staying there were fried mushrooms for a breakfast. Having eaten them I was poisoned. I was coming down with fever, diarrhea and vomiting for one day and half after that.

The final point was barefaced receptionist who forced me to pay for mini-bar positions I’ve never used. I had to waste about 5 minutes for the controversy to prove I didn’t use it. And the receptionist behaved like he was an investigator and I felt to be a suspect.

I suppose an amount about 12 000 CZK to be too high price for 6 nights at such a hotel. It was the worst hotel experience in my life. And my vacation was really spoiled.

Having booked the room I expected four stars service as it was promised. This hotel deserves 2 stars maximum.
