Happy time

Frankly speaking we expected this hotel to be just OK as the price for a tour was quite bearable but in fact this hotel exceeded our expectations 💯 %. First of all the territory is very large and perfectly zoned with exquisite Arabic structures, colourful fountains, numerous bars, pools and playgrounds. The territory abounds in greenery: palms, bushes, exotic flowers. What is important, all this is kept sooo clean that it seems that the staff work days and nights. You can hardly see any litter dropped by a child or careless tourist.

Secondly, the staff. Everybody is very helpful, tactful, amiable, and nice. We want to say thank you to the chief of the restaurant Elrahiem (hope I spelled the name correctly 😊), Ahmed, the waiter from the main restaurant, the staff of the restaurant and the receptionists. Any inconvenience we had was heard and removed immediately. What surprised us most is that some of the staff speak not only English, Russian and Arabic, but also Italian. My cousin who lives in Italy could easily communicate even with the waiters in the restaurant.

Thirdly, the beach. It is very large, clean, with lots of sun beds, much more than all guests need, so that you don’t have to get up early in the morning to occupy a good sunbed. The sea is a bit shallow, especially if there’s a low tide. You will hardly have the water reach your waist sometimes, but there’s a golf car running to the neighboring beach where there’s a pontoon ( the pontoon of this hotel is broken).

Next, the food is varied and well served. Due to quarantine restrictions you cannot take the food yourself, but you can choose anything you like and the staff will pass it to you. There are different kinds of meat served in Jaz mirabel: beef, chicken, turkey, lamb. We were also offered fish and sea food like crab, calamari and prawn. Every evening the dinner was different. Once we were served grilled salmon and there was enough of it for all the guests.

The rooms are tidy, we had a simple standard room with twin beds. The furniture is not very new, but the cleaners tidy the rooms carefully making birds, animals and hearts out of our towels, leaving petals on the bed😊. In one of our four rooms there was a stink coming from air conditioning system, but they offered us to change the room if we wanted.

Then, about animation. There was live music outside the main building, the singer was different every time. The animation team did their best but in my opinion the animation should be more varied and include not only shows of the animation team but something more exotic like fire show or cobra show.

Nevertheless, there were several moments which slightly disappointed us and we would like this to be taken into account. Firstly, the music in the bars near the pools. Given that there were and are a lot of guests from Ukraine you probably should include Ukrainian songs into your track list. There was an impression, that you tried to please all the guests: Russians, Italians, Arabic and that’s great, but we want to feel we are also important for you. Another problem, we had, refers to our guide from Anex tour Ahmed. While advertising the sea trips, he announced that the yacht we had chosen would carry only twenty people but in fact there were more than thirty. If we had known that beforehand, we would have chosen another yacht and saved our money. In addition, he didn’t indicate that we ordered diving, so that we had an unpleasant situation with the crew who thought we wanted to cheat them and demanded extra money. So if you want to order a trip from Anex make sure that you cleared out all the details carefully.

In conclusion, the advantages of the hotel far exceed the inconveniences we experienced and I can recommend this hotel as clean, picturesque and amiable place to spend your vacation. Probably we will be back❤️
