Fairmont The Palm 5*

Good afternoon! We were in this hotel in December 2019. The hotel is pretty worn out.

The first impression was spoiled immediately upon arrival. We arrived at the hotel at 22-45. In the main restaurant, dinner is until 23-00, there are also 4 other restaurants on site. Three of which we paid for dinner. The meeting Manager offered to have dinner ( or rather did not offer, and I begged, because I was very hungry ) in a restaurant where we should pay extra money . This attitude was observed throughout the holiday, if the order did not specify what water to bring, they always brought the most expensive one.

So, the first impression passed. The following disadvantages are:

- very poor table, both at Breakfast and at dinners and suppers. For a 14-day stay, a good table with an abundance of dishes was served 1 time. The rest of the time it is very specific spicy dishes, the absence of any hot Breakfast in addition to eggs and oatmeal. Total absence of fruit: only 4 fruits were presented for the entire period. No apples, no watermelons, no bananas , no peaches, no berries. The potatoes and pasta presented at the dinners were also seasoned with hot sauces, there is absolutely nothing to feed the child in this hotel.

The main and I think the most serious disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of medical staff -from the word absolutely and always. The child's temperature rose, I forgot to bring a thermometer, as a result, the guard came to measure the temperature, with unwashed hands, and he was not able to handle an infrared thermometer.

Rooms cleaning is very poor quality, for 2 weeks never washed the floor on the balcony, the dust by the end of the holiday was 5 cm, instead of shampoo they could put 2 shower gel, but constantly turned on, turned off my phones in the room, it is unclear what for.

A separate story with a children's room, where you need to fill out a questionnaire for a child, leave the child and LEAVE . Parents should not wait for the child at the entrance, only behind the door. They said a room is for children. I am not personally ready to leave my child in an unfamiliar place and leave.

Bottom line: the hotel is absolutely not suitable for families with children. NOT RECOMMENDED . Plus of course other minuses are quite enough, too.
