Dear travellers! To my regret I want to leave an unflattering comment about the hotel, rather about the administration, although I haven't visited the hotel! Cry from the heart! On July 2, 2017, I booked a room at the Sirkeci Park Hotel from July 6 to July 10, 2017. On July 6 I was supposed to fly to Istanbul, but I had a disaster, on July 3, I had a rash on my body, from the doctor I found out that I had chicken pox. The doctor opened a hospital sheet for me, issued a medical certificate, in which he indicated that I mustn't travel , that I have an infectious disease and need temporary isolation from the community, treatment at home is necessary. The disease is accompanied by high fever, I feel very bad. The disease did not happen because of my fault, I really wanted to visit Istanbul. On 4 July, with the hope of understanding, I sent a letter to the hotel administration asking them to decrease at least part of the fine for the reservation and I sent a copy of the sick leave sheet, described my condition, I wanted the hotel to return some money. However, on the same day a refusal was received from the hotel, the whole sum was withdrawn from my card, it was the full price. In the letter they explained it by the fact that I had booked the room a long time ago, although it was 2 days before and 3 days remained before the departure. The decision upset me a lot, it turns out that the life and health of a person does not mean anything at all for the administration of the hotel.Material gain is the only thing that matters for them. Many thanks to the staff of Pegasus, after reviewing my application, they returned the full cost of tickets! The attitude of the hotel's administration really offends me. I want to share this information with everyone :-(
