Even though the owner Katarina is always in the lobby or restaurant trying to socialize with the guests, which is nice of her, it doesn`t fully compensate some faults of the hotel. Although the faults are not critical, they are irritating enough and I wonder how they got their stars. The owners try to save money on everything.

Wifi is available only at the pool area. It doesn`t work even in the lobby, not to mention the rooms. Besides, it works very poorly, often disconnecting. The speed is low. In the evening, as you stay near the pool using wifi, when the dinner is over (approximately at 10 pm), they switch off all the lights, and you have to stay in complete darkness. I addition, there`s no any animation.

The apartments were of a good standard, modern and clean.

Usually in 4* Greek hotels the beach towels are offered for free or for a deposit, here you have to pay. And the price for it is higher than that, if you buy a towel in the local shop and bring it home as a souvenir.

The shower cabin is very uncomfortable. Rather, it`s the "place for shower". It`s very narrow, the curtain doesn`t prevent the water from flowing on the floor, so after having shower you walk almost ankle-deep in the water. Moreover, it has no any shelf, so you have to hold the soap or shampoo all the time in your hand or, after using, throw it on the floor.

It was a surprise that air-conditioner was offered for money.

TV channels have bad picture and it`s few of them available.

Food is tasty, it`s enough of it for you not to go hungry. But there`s not much diversity, which is unusual for Greece. Meat, seafood, fruits are scarce, which isn`t typical of 4* Greek hotels. For the whole restaurant they have only a couple of waiters. When you come to the restaurant, forks, knives, spoons and napkins are not already laying on the tables, and you have to take and bring them yourself. Once the service in the restaurant is very modest, the prices for drinks could be lower. At least, they are higher than is usual the in hotels of this kind.

The beach is 10 min walk from the hotel, but it is also uncomfortable - there were many sharp stones and rocks underwater. When going into the water, even wearing coral shoes, you can easily be injured. You pay 5 Euro for sunbeds and umbrella as you do in other beaches, but going into the water turns a torture.

But never mind! Greece, its people and their hospitalitiy, climate, mountains, sea, cities and villages always make your vacation a great and pleasant experience. Once most of the time you spend out of the hotel, some drawbacks of the hotel can`t spoil this strong emotion of staying in a miracle.
