Karya Tour said the hotel is 3*+ but it is definitely not more than 1*. The rooms are small with dirty walls and the shower is also dirty. The "balcony" only had space to hang a couple of towels, not a real balcony where you can sit. The sheets were never changed, just rearranged twice during our ten day holiday. We had booked a double room but when we opened the door we were greeted with two seperate single beds. There are no clean white normal sheets to cover yourself at night. Instead there were dirty green towel like coverings. Not enough toilet paper.

At each lunch and dinner everyone queued up in a long line. There was always a thin soup, some rice and soya "meat". This was accompanied with a lot of strange salads. Sometimes you would see flies landing on the food. The menu didn't change much. There was water melon each day and a custard desert on some days. Water and an artificial fruit juice was provided from a machine while the bar supplied cheap brand "kola" and other cheap brand fizzy drinks as well as local beer, red and white wine. There was also a coffee machine. Kalyan made me feel ill (as it did on the "Turkish Night" excursion) and was not tasty like you would find in Ukraine. Once you had selected your choice of cheap drink and had taken it to your table the staff would take away your full glasses immediately if you left the table for one second to take something. Even while eating, if a plate looked like it had anything eaten from it then it would be quickly taken away. This was due to the hotel having a lack of plates, bowls, glasses and cups.

The swimming pool is very small. Do not go on tours with your tour operator as they will be almost 2x the price of the tours you can find with the agencies on the street, such as Ginza.

The sea is lovely and warm and generally clean but you may be annoyed by the staff at the beach trying to sell you colafantasprite
